The Ridgemont Public Library recieved a $1,000 grant from Walmart on January 8, 2010 to be used for teen services at the library. Accepting the donation from Kenton Walmart store manager, Todd Walter, is Mollie Craig Gallo, Ridgeway Branch Librarian.
Story times for preschoolers thru 4th graders will be held at 5:00 on Mondays in Ridgeway and Tuesdays in Mt. Victory.

The Ridgemont Public Library holds Board meetings the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in alternating libraries. The meetings are open to the public. It is best to call the library to be sure of the location and that there has been no temporary change in date for that month.

The Ridgeway Branch children's area has a new look! Katrina and Chris Thompson generously donated a large three tiered reading terrace which is the center piece for our redesigned children's area. Children will be able to sit stadium style for a clear view of story times and movie nights. The area has also been rearranged to better accomodate activities and make it easier to find what you are looking for. Come and check us out soon!
